Black Rose

Dun dun dun duuu. Another post this week and it's only Tuesday. I must be getting bored over here.

But since my last post was pretty heavy with the text, I thought this one could be a light OOTD post.

Shirt - Queen of Darkness, Second hand
Lace Choker - FashionForWomen, Etsy
Skirt - Lindex, shortened by me.
Small hat - Pahis.fi
Big rose - Second hand
Lace gloves - Ebay
Cuffs - UFF

Today I felt that I needed more ruffles and lace in my life. Some days it's just nice to mix it up a bit.

I have been kinda self conscious about wearing platform shoes and high heels with short skirts. Kinda makes my legs, which are already so long, seem like stilts. Sometimes I kinda wish I was shorter. But then again if I was, I would probably wish I was taller.

Tomorrow I will go to some flea markets and hopefully find something cool with my last euros.

Hope your week is going well.
See you again soon!

Funeral of Feelings

I must be the most boring blogger ever. I hardly go anywhere. But on the other hand I do keep myself busy at home.

Skirt - Lip Service, second hand
Shirt - Divided, H&M
Oh peep. I should have ironed the skirt. Hehe.
The temperature is now around 0 Celsius so now I'm dressing too warm. Oh well that's me.

Coffin Ring - Ebay
Black round ring - Lindex
Skull ring - Cubus
Pentacle - Second hand
Last weekend we were at a funeral. I was mainly there to support my boyfriend. I had never met the person in question, but it still did make me so sad.

I have learned something about myself recently. I am a hyper sensitive person myself, and also when someone else feels emotional I feel them immensely. If I see, hear or feel a crying person I can't help but to break down myself. Even tough there might not be a reason for me to feel sad.

My whole life I have taught myself to feel what others feel and try to see what other people see. So I can understand them and their feelings better. There was so much sadness all around me at the funeral so I really had to work extremely hard not to break down.

Lately I have been having constant nightmares after another so I bought this little black notebook and decorated it with hot glue and paint. I used to have a dream journal but I suppose I have lost that at some point. The hot glue thing didn't turn out quite how I wanted it to, but it was good practice I suppose. Next time I'll know how it behaves.

If you happen to have a hot glue gun, this is a pretty cool way to make your journals interesting. Like make a pentacle or ankh or something like that. Then paint over it. :)

Also look at my new pretty coffin ring! I got it pretty cheapish ebay! It is supposed to be stainless steel and hopefully the silver color wont come off like in some cheap crap rings.
I'd give you all a link but it seems the seller doesn't have it up anymore, sorry.

New gaaameees! Yeah like I don't have enough games in the shelf that I haven't played yet... But my brother got me a gift card to gamestop as a late yule gift. With that one I got the Witcher 3. Very cool game, I just love open world fantasy~ Fantasy life is also pretty much open world fantasy as well. I found it used in the local game store, after trying to find it for a year.

In the Withcer I find the battle system pretty complicated so it definitely took some getting used to. But the card game in it is so fun!

I have gotten excited about "gardening" once again! Well really not much gardening to do in the balcony more like potting. Even tough the spring is still far away, it doesn't hurt to grow some stuff.. Some of these saplings are for the cats thought. Like the barley. Which are already bit munched on. There's also catnip but those haven't grown yet.

I am growing these things for the cats because I recently learned that the seeds they sell as "Cat grass" are poisonous for them. Which is pretty messed up.

I am also growing some peas. Some of them are for me, and some saplings I'll also try to feed to the cats.

Relating to plants are gardening I have also been very into something that I ordered some books about. I'll be making a post about it as soon as those arrive and I have gotten a chance to read some of them. I'll keep it a secret for now~

Midnight Gypsy Alchemy -review + ootd

The frost outside is letting up a bit. Not much, but so much that I can somewhat use holey stuff.
Tough our living rooms door to the balcony is very badly insulated. So it leaks the cold in very sufficiently. + The landlord is so cheap ass that they wont increase the heat. Even a few Celsius drop feels cold when talking about the warmth of the living spaces.

This is how I feel about the frost:

Dress - H&M
Ankh - Backstreet
Cross hairpin - Gift from a friend
Everything else - Thrifted

And now in to the review!

In etsy I came across this store called Midnight Gypsy Alchemy. They sell perfumes, bath salt, scent candles etc. All the perfumes had such magical names and the descriptions really drew me in. So I bought myself a sample set of 4. I got to choose the scents myself.

The packaging is was gorgeous!

It revealed this beautiful box and the description cards of the scents that I chose.
Magick & Moonlight, Ancient Oak, Into the woods, La Mariposa. If you want to read about these scents there's a descriptions on the etsy page.

Surprisingly the package included some bath salts! It was such a nice surprise. Even tough I don't have a bathtub. I think I will either use it for a foot bath or give it away to someone with one..

As for the scents. They all have such wonderful and rich aroma. My two favorite ones were La Mariposa and Magick & Moonlight. These ones I have tried on my skin. At first I thought La Mariposa would be too much for me, but when I had a small amount of it on my skin.. I couldn't stop sniffing it!
This will probably happen with the other two scents too.

I'm so bad at describing scents so I won't be doing that now.
I will definitely order some more samples and a bigger bottle of the Magick & Moonlight.

I have to say I have never been a perfume kind of person. I have always hated the ones they sell in stores... But theeeese, these are my kind of scents!

A big + for the free shipping, even tough it came all the way from USA!
A small - for the sample bottles which were so tight and pain to open. xD But I suppose it's also a good thing that they won't open on the way.

And no, I didn't get anything free etc. Just thought maybe you would be interested! :)

Shiny Year

Suppose it's time to welcome the year 2016. For some reason it seems like a future year instead of present time. This was my new year outfit when we were drinking at my boyfriends friend. He lives in the 5th floor so there was a great view of the fireworks.

I haven't been that drunk in a loooong while, but we had a lot of fun. Though I'm kinda ashamed how I spammed my friend with my phone.

I didn't take pictures of the evening since I just wanted to enjoy the new year without worrying about that. ( if not counting the drunken wobbly pictures I took while I was drunk )

And yes, I was a bit cold with this getup! But of course I have to start the year looking flashy~

PVC top - Black level, Second hand
PVC Bat Bow - From H&M
Bat Choker - Hellobatty, StoreEnvy
Legwarmers - From Tiger

As something new for this year, I shaved most of my eyebrows. Just left a little stub for guidance. I have to say I just LOVE how evil I can make myself look with self drawn brows! But I do have a lot of learning to do with them.

I won't make any promises for the coming year. I tend to not get things done if I plan them too well ahead. But I will try to make more art and take more pictures this year.

As for Yule, I got some presents but nothing really interesting. Most of them were just things I needed, which is good. My friend did paint a picture of me which was so sweet! I will show it after I find a frame for it, and if she let's me.. :')

I also did get a new printer! Something that will help me on my crafts and I can finally print some pictures of people that are important to me, and put them in frames.

So I have a crafts project post coming pretty soon...

How was your new year? :)
