Clean up

Yesterday was snowy, today it's rainy. Good thing I went thrifting yesterday so I didn't get that wet. Found all sorts of cool clothes, moomin dvd's and a book on vampires!

Winter solstice is coming up so soon! Next monday! ...and so is my doctors appointment... *shivers*
Sorry, I keep complaining about that. :')

We are going to just stay home till the end of the year. Play some games, burn some candles, charge some crystals, draw some stuff, take some pictures, so nice.

Weeee so much new games and it's not even the holidays yet! I finally found the Digimon Rumble arena from a facebook flea market. I used to love this game as a child. The Dragon Age I got from a Gamestop in Tampere. It was previously used, so it was pretty cheap.

The 3 bottom games came from my friend as a gift! I was so surprised like you wouldn't believe when I opened the package! I had been wanting these games since he suggested them to me. Except the Dragonball, that one I had been wanting to play forever. So happy, can't wait to play them all!
Need to make some room in our ps4 to get them all installed though. :')

Yesterday I decided that it's time to organize my clothing closet. It was a terrible mess and shoes were all over the place. I got 4 bags full of clothing to take to the flea market and 2 bags to just to trow away.

I ended up with so much rooom in there! It's so nice for a change. But these clothes are mostly the ones I use very rarely (excluding the shoes).  The clothes I use a lot are in the bedroom and I just don't know what am I going to do with the piles and more piles in there. And I just keep carrying more from the flea markets. Ahahahaa.

I was so happy that I got all the shoes to fit in there and then I remembered I have like 10 pairs more in the bedroom. Sigh. Does anyone else have problems accommodating their clothes and shoes? Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated.

  1. I plan on spending the rest of my year playing video games and drawing too. I've been so busy with work I haven't been able to touch the PS4 and we've had it for months!

I struggle with disorganized closets, I have four in my new house, the Master is a lot bigger so it holds all my shoes on top and goth clothing on the far end. Boots are kept in my hall closet by the front door because they're too big otherwise. All my club wear and formal wear is kept in the office, and my purses and hats are kept in baskets in that same closet. I love organizer baskets, you can dump your crap into them so you know where things are but it doesn't look messy! I've asked for more of them on my Christmas list lol.

  2. On todellakin ongelmia mihin kaiken roinan laittaisi, vaikka on nykyisin isompi asunto.

    1. Voisihan sitä vähemmälläkin roinalla pärjätä, toisaalta ei. :')

  4. I love your skirt and belts! I don't have any closets in my apartment, and just have a rack and some shelves. So every season, I box up everything out of style or out of season. I also hang "outfits" one one hanger.

    1. Thanks! Sounds like you really have a good system! I was thinking if I could put out of season clothes away, but I really don't have seasonal clothing. I just layer up in the winter, haha! :)

  7. Weeeell, I'm single, I'm living outside in the country and the house is quite big, I dont have problems for shoes and boots. Still, it's not easy to have all well organized and at the same time "ready to be used". :-(

    1. I see! Must be awesome to have all the space! But yes indeed it can be hard to have the stuff "ready steady go". I'm dreaming of having my own room in our next apartment which I can turn in to a kind of dressing room/ art studio/ sewing station. With a few racks and open selves and full body mirrors... Ahh, a what a dream.. xD

    2. Nice Idea! It's good to have such plans because with a new flat/house it's better to arrange almost all in the right way since beginning. I have a gothic room for Afternoon Tees and a SMALL photo studio in the cellar. For sewing is always a big problem finding enough free and confortable space...

    3. Indeed it is! I just hope it will be bigger than this.. :) Oh oh! You mean your Red Room which has photos on dA? :D It's so gorgeus! Ohhh and a photo studioooo! So jealous! :'''')

And yes, I would sew so much more, but my machine is tucked away under the table and it is always such a pain to take it out can put the yarn in and.. AGH.
